Episode Summary
Homer gets an illegal cable TV hook-up and invites all his friends to the house to watch a major upcoming boxing match. Lisa learns about the eight commandment at Sunday School and fears her family will really go to hell for stealing the cable.

Lisa seeks advice from Reverend Lovejoy, who tells her to set an example by not watching any cable programs. Marge also worries that cable is a negative influence on the family and suggests that they get rid of it. Homer, however, is determined to keep his cable and watch the big fight with his friends.

On the night of the big fight, Lisa protests and is sent outside by Homer, where Marge joins her. During the fight, Homer's conscience finally wins over and he leaves the gathering to sit with his family. After the match, wire cutters in had, he climbs the power pole in front of the house and snips the cable line- plunging the neighborhood into total darkness.
